On a mission to find Milwaukee's Best Bloody Mary

You say tomato, I say Bloody Mary.

Wolf Peach | Milwaukee Bloody Mary

I’m back! It’s been quite the bloody mary break but I’m back with one of the best in the city. We reviewed Wolf Peach in early 2014. Previously, I mentioned the bloody mary was “good” but this time around… totally different story.  Maybe it’s that I haven’t had a bloody mary in months, maybe they changed their recipe. I suppose we’ll never know.

I also don’t know what has taken us so long to get back to Wolf Peach. We love the atmosphere, the view and the food!

Mix:  I loved the flavor of this bloody mary. It was heavy on salt so I’m thinking Worcestershire and olive juice were added.  The texture was perfect – not too watery, not too thick.  I was able to enjoy my meal and drink this in entirety without feeling too full. The bloody mary was easy to drink and super refreshing.

Garnish: This Bloody Mary came with a simple garnish of a green olive, a chunk of cheese and a sausage wedge. Nothing else was required with the beverage taste.

Chaser: For an extra dollar, I added a Rhinelander shortly.

Buzz:  Taken down with Chicken & Waffles, no buzz.

Size: Standard 16 ounces.

Cost: Wolf Peach is on the high-end at $9 + $1 for a chaser.

After this trip, Wolf Peach is being added to my list of favorites. If you haven’t gone, make reservations and enjoy a brunch or dinner there with friends. It’s a very social spot and you cannot beat the food!
